New Update Lag

We all know 1.4.2 is less stable than previous updates, but ALL DAY I've been lagging harder than I have ever on these servers. I think it's from the recent update. I love the /ghostfix and all ( I've used it 5 times today), but now I am practically standing still and can't interact with anything. I try to use the command, but it doesn't activate for another minute or so. Is this a known issue? If so when can I expect a fix?

I think that's your Internet bugging out, or the servers themselves.

Well my internet has always bugged out, but why would it all of the sudden do it in a different way as soon as a new update came out. A little too much of a coincidence.
