New Map Creation - Help Needed (More Questions)

Hello everyone!

Okay, so! As some of you may know, I am still in the process of creating a map, but I have a few more questions.

1. If I were to place a minecart in my map, would I still be able to sit in it during an MCSG match?

2. I don't really understand how to use redstone, especially because everything changes after they do an update. I would like to know what is safe to create so that it will work throughout the possible versions to come and how to use redstone and its "partners" (redstone, repeater, etc...)

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

1) I believe users will be able to sit in it, yes.
2) Redstone seems very difficult, but it is fairly simple. try looking on Youtube! There are MANY great tutorials there. Good luck with your map!
