What does "Your signature has been modifed, please read the rules" mean?

Because whenever I try to add more to my signature it just dissapears and that pops up,
I obviously try to press the link, but it doesn't take me anywhere

That happens to me all the time, and if you have colors it seems to make it even worse.
You've gotta keep it short OR put it into some sort of signature picture
