mysql database+Survival Games Pl Help!!!!!

Hi I'm an admin on a minecraft server. The owner needed me to post this on the forums because we can’t figure out what’s wrong. I don’t know if this is posted in the right place but please help! Every time we get a mysql database for the survival games plug-in the server says this:

We really don't have anyidea what’s wrong with the mysql database. Can some one please tell us what’s happening and how to fix it? It would be much appreciated!! We really love Survival Games and we really want this plugin! Thank you for reading!! Please Help!!

Yes we do have it set up. And im positive the owner gave the correct details. Although he was using a video guide given by the bukkit plugin page so the guide might be wrong here it is:

Running Survival Games on craft bukkit 1.2.5

Ask on the plugin developer's forums or something else. It does not involve our survival games plugin.
