Hey guys, for those of you who don't know, my name's Jason, and unfortunately after some careful thought I have come to the decision to resign from the staff team.
I'm going to keep this short, and i'm not going to do any tags because I'm not quitting MCSG, I will still be on the Team Speak a lot!
So these are the main reasons why I came to this decision:
1) I've been on leave now for quite a while, and I've thoroughly enjoyed it. I think that trying to get back into moderation now, with the distractions of summer is going to be too difficult.
2) I've found that I haven't been playing the game as much as I used to which shows that I will not be able to dedicate as much time to the servers as I used to.
3) I have 4/9 exams left, and I'm making a final push to try and get the A grades that I want.
4) I want to be dedicating more of my free time, when not studying, to getting fit at the gym and training my puppies.
5) This evening I sat outside whilst eating dinner to make my final decision, it was beautiful weather (for once) and it made me realize how much i'm missing whilst being stuck at the computer. (A little irrelevant but I felt the need to add that point in because it was nice)
Perhaps in the future I will re-apply for a moderator position here at MCGamer, as I have really enjoyed it and there is no doubt that it has taught me a lot of lessons and has definitely brought me through a lot of stressful times etc.
You're all such lovely people in this community and I wish you the best in whatever you do!
This was not an impulse decision, it was well thought through over the period of around 1-2 weeks.
