My points keep changing

I was at 420ish and then for no reason i went down to 399.

Probably because you died while you were playing the game. With a score that high it can drop you down a long ways.

No, I never acutally died. This is really bugging me because I worked so hard to get those points :/

Oh, that really sucks. I don't really know what to say to that: remember though that points are temporary and will be thrown away when beta ends.

My friend, Xinose, is having the same issue. I am not however, which seems strange that it would only affect certain players...

The point system is weighted. If someone killed you with a lower score, they will take more points away from you as you had a higher skill ranking. Once the skill rating system is finalized, we will post in great detail how it works. For now, we are waiting as we have been changing it a lot lately.
