Mouse delay issue in Minecraft!

So I changed the Toggle Perspective to one of the side buttons on my mouse. However, when I click on the side button, it doesn't change the perspective right away. It takes about 3-5 seconds, and then switches. This is really frustrating. I know for a fact that it's not my mouse because it happens on a different mouse too.
Does anybody know a fix or what's going on?
