Just writing a lot of stuff doesn't guarantee a good app. What I tried to do was not be super drawn out and redundant on a few points, but have strong, pretty detailed, mid-length writing on multiple things.

Back in the day ThatGuy67 wrote under 400 words on his mod app, and got it accepted. It is very much quality > quantity.

As always, quality over quantity. Also, a better way to measure how long your application is would be by number of words. People rarely get accepted with an application over 1,000 words. I'm not too sure about how long it should be, since I've never applied for moderator.

Maybe the best place for this would have been in the general support? Anyway, if you're being denied for lack of details, try to expand on points you have already made.

People normally suggest writing at least 1000 words for your mod app, but remember to add detail and not to ramble on to much!
