This is not exactly an issue that has anything to do with MCSG but it's a problem that someone might be able to give me a hand with. When I start up minecraft I get these errors:

I have absolutely no idea what any of that means because I am not a big tech guy but I can tell you a few things. This is a school computer and my friends also can't access minecraft on their school computers. I am on a macbook which I am trying to use at home but it's still a school computer. I have tried re-installing, re-installing java, installing different versions of java. Now I could use minecraft before the new launcher was released but as soon as it came out I could never start up minecraft. This has been like this for a long period of time and I just wanted to know if anyone has/had this issue and could give me any info, thanks :)

If it is a school computer, it is possible the school has set limitations that prevent certain files from being accessed, etc.. Unfortunately, I am not able to help more than that :p

You can do what-ever you want on a school laptop, if you are using your own internet, if a school ineternet it won't let you go on games etc.

Okay. From what I know, it looks like you're having issues downloading something. I'm guessing the next latest version of a launcher, maybe the feed from twitter, or who knows what. Are there any connection restrictions set on your internet on that computer? It's probably that.

I have absolutely no idea. When I play on my normal computer it is perfect with no issues. I wouldn't know how to check if there are connection restrictions :/

Check for any programs that you don't recognize that are like parental controls and can restrict what your computer can access.

My parents don't control anything, they don't know how. Our school has this thing called netbox blue though.

Well, it's on the school's computer, so yeah it would be something done by the school.

Checked out NetBox Blue's page, found this: "Gateway appliance providing firewall, e-mail and application filtering, monitoring, authentication and related network management."

Basically this means that your school has installed this program to control what you download even out of school, and it makes it possible to monitor your usage.

Unfortunately, I think this means unless you find a way around it, I don't think you can play on you school computer :'(

Also, to be more specific, it seems as if you are missing some root files or root certificates.

MultiBigTime this is what I meant by the school blocking him from downloading...

I am going to lock this thread, if anyone else has more solutions feel free to message thedorkyd1, or message me with questions.
