I believe that apps need to be approved by iTunes/Apple, otherwise they can't go on the app store. Would this really be accepted?

That rings a bell. I remember in one of Lovelights' videos, he goes afk for a few seconds and says "Let me check where the crafting tables are on this map" (something along those lines). And proceeds to check his mobile phone. He doesn't mention the name however. That is most likely the app you're talking about.

I dont remember the episode number, but he was playing on Moonbase 9, and the episode was most likely in the 70's.

I was emailing SR. staff aboun this a couple of months ago. They said their problem is they don't have IOS or android devs. All the MCSG devs are Java Trained. I love the idea of it but they would have to find some IOS or Android devs. Which could take sometime a lot of cordination. They should add a rank for IOS and Android devs to make the mobile forums ChadTheDJ .

I like it too, however I get a weird problem when I go on someones wall, it basically squishes everything together, so it looks like this;

Many forumers are always wanting a way to check their notifications on the go. Why not have a Mobile app for Android or Apple? For instance, You are waiting for an important message, But can't check it? Pull out your IPhone, Install the MCSG app, and check it on the way out the door! I think it's a great idea, To find out new imformation, Updates, Forum posts, and to update your own status, anywhere!


Just a suggestion, I feel it is a great investment! and well worth the time. Many people would benefit from this, and MCSG would profit from this substantially.

I think an application for mobile devices are a wonderful idea! Especially for us Staff members! It would make our job so much easier! Not to mention the responsiveness the app would have. (If we had nice application developers.)

There's only 1 problem I see, it's the fact that we have to hire said application developers, and make sure our servers support the application at the same time.

This is true, and I agree an application could perhaps be a nice solution, as I don't think MCGamer has the ability to fix it themselves, we'd have to tell the forum website developers, a completely different company.
