Well me and 7,500 people are paying +500 to go to Minecon... xDI don't really think a video game would be worth the flight cost plus hotel fees, so no I wouldn't attend.

I think it should be in 1 of the more popular states, because many people would have to convince there parents to take them and not many families would like to go to a smaller state. Also if anyone wanted to come from a different country i'm sure they would rather tour a place such as New York, California, Florida. Lastly, i'm assuming we would have more players throughout these states because of the larger population (I'm not sure just a guess.). (Not trying to offend anyone who doesn't live in any of these states.)Personally, if a "MCSGcon" was staged somewhere in the middle of the US, Chad and a couple of Admin's and Dev's were there, and a few hundred players were set to go, heck yea I'd be in!
But I wouldn't bother staging in in Florida because this would most likely be an event for most of the people who couldn't make it to Minecon 2013, myself included.
I live in Michigan. I missed out on Minecon 2013 because it would have cost $2000 to go, thus I assume that you would get less people attending in Florida than if you staged it toward the center of the country.
I would probably stage it in Tennessee because that is right in the middle of a large Minecrafter group.
(Also there is a good sized convention center in the middle of Gatlinburg that should do the trick)
We don't know where it will be, if it does happen.its not going to be were I live :/
Wha? you tagged me?I blame him and @CandyCranium .-.
