Welcome to what I'm hoping can be the official thread for all things Smash on MCGamer!

I've made thread in hopes that I can kick start a Smash community on MCGamer. Think of this as a thread you'd see on Smashboards, or a way of setting up games like Anther's Ladder. Discuss your mains, combos, and more. Set up online matches or tournaments. If you've got anything Smash Bros. to talk about, this is the place.​

What is "Smash" ?

Nintendo's all-stars in 4 player action. It's a 2D fighting game which debuted on the Nintendo 64 in 1999. "Super Smash Bros." is often reffered to as "Smash" throughout the competitive scene. The series now has 5 installments, and over 50 characters in the roster from the original 12.

Super Smash Bros. Melee, released on the GameCube in 2001, is a highly competitive game. Exploited to the bone, people have gone into it and discovered unintentional technology which has been used to speed up the game. It is currently one of the most popular fighting games to watch at tournaments like Evo, and is climbing it's way up the ladder as one of the most popular and watched e-sports.
