If you get a timeout reply, that means its your internet connection to server.

It sounds silly since you're posting on here, although the most likely reason is your internet connection. One thing I could suggest you trying is updating mincraft to the latest version or even downgrading and then re-add the servers. Also, to check if it's those servers you can direct connect to lobbies and test that.

Sorry then I'm not too sure. You could try connecting to the servers on a different internet connection and see if it's them (even though I doubt that's the problem). Maybe swap your minecraft.jar folder with a friends.

Alright, Just a wild guess here, did you copy-paste the IP's? If so there is a good change there is accident a spacebar in the IP which results in MC not being able to see it as a valid IP.
