I know how the system works, but you explained it really weird xD Anyways my thoughts, I think if no one was complaining about it, it shouldn't have been changed. It's a very awkward system and makes it less fun for people trying to play the maps they love. I love Valleyside, so say I'm in a game with Valleyside, it has a decent amount of votes. Some new player votes for Fallen Collosi or Destiny's Shiver and it gets selected randomly. I have to go find a new game and it makes me sad ;-; I just want a command that sends me to a lobby with that map ;c like /sgmap valleyside or /sgmap 1 if they were numbered. You could do /sgmap list to see what number your favourite map was and then you could easily get in a game with it :)
Sixorr said the second most voted map always wins. I don't know if it's true since I haven't played MCSG in a while. But if it is true they should fix it :/

/hub into a different server playing valleyside...
That's why there are 150 servers, and maps can't be played if recently played in the previous 5 games on that server.

That's wrong, at least not always right. First time I played on the new map system SG3 got selected with 6% chance, the 4th most voted.

If there are maps on MCSG that are underplayed/not voted for, it's because the community dislikes playing them. If a map with a 5% chance of winning gets played, then you only end up with 8 people in the game because everyone leaves. To be honest I really don't like this new implement.

I like it, as it actually gives me a reason to spend time learning less popular maps. Learning routes is lots of fun, but there was no point in doing that on a lot of maps that the playerbase never gave a chance. Now I have a good excuse to get a route on every map I can :D

What Thedorkyd1 said, if people don't want to play a map they're going to leave until they find a good one. Obviously this isn't all of the people in the lobby but you can bet at least 8 people will leave, especially when the first few start to leave.
