Lost over 1000 points?

Hey so I was playing a game with Ling (newest moderator) and he died then bountied 1000 points on the last guy alive for me to kill. I won the match and it took me up to around 1800 points on au servers. I logged on today and I'm back to 500, the number I was at before that match. Any ideas? I'm a little frustrated that I lost about 1300 points =/
