Hey chad! Why does US get things before us? Favouritsm me thinks.... XD
Maybe because US has more players? >.>
3)there can be exceptions as people (under 15 can be mature.) simply just from reading your thread I can tell you are quite mature for a 14 year old.
Or he just took some time to write the thread, used big words and checked if the grammer/spelling was right.

1) people mature at diffent rates, so I don't agree with this rule.

1. Yeah I definitely agree with that, I have had this voice since I was 12, and I have been 6ft since 13. But really it's the fact that I'm that guy in the crowd that's always saying knock it off and/or has something to say that will positively have an affect on someone.

3. I completely agree. To be honest I never really trust anyone just by their typing. I find it easier to know if this guy(or girl) is telling the truth by seeing their verbal and/or visual reactions. You can't stutter when typing as you basically have all the time in the world to think about what you're going to say, unlike in real life where you have to be quick about what you're going to say. and it can only come out good if you're telling the truth.

As a side note I had originally applied for moderator. But now I am somewhat glad that I got denied in my application as some of the forum posts by some moderators really disgusted me( I will not name names) and I am not too sure I like the idea of cooperating with the people who had said such things (and no it was not cursing) .

I totally agree with both sides. Age usually means matureness but no in all cases. There should be more younger mods as they might have some creative ideas that could benefit the server positively and make it a better place for us all. There should be exceptions in rare cases (in special cases) and see what happens to experiment if less mature people could get in. That is my view and i hope you like it.

(If you want to know I'm 14)

1. To keep a level of maturity of mods and ensue they are responsible. They didn't use to have the restriction, but then a few underage mods completely abused their powers and screwed it up for everyone.
2.There used to be more exceptions, but in recent times the only one I know of is Tironas11.
3. I think that there should be more exceptions, and applications should be read fully even if the applicant is underage (for example, Tironas, with one of the best apps ever, was initially denied, and only accepted after he went to go talk to the Sr. Mods in TS). However, as a baseline rule, I do feel that 15 is a good age, and that it should not be lowered.

It would be madness if there were 8 year old mods.

I abdanonded this thread, but I will reply to all the "8 Year old mod" responses. The point of this thread was to say "Don't judge a book by it's cover", well more like, "Don't judge someone by there age". All I was trying to say is - If you gather that someone is more than mature enough to be a mod, let them be a mod. Your all just standing by the same steriotype that anyone under a certain age is immature. I know many ten year old who wouldn't go about banning anyone they didn't like :p
