Lag reduction mods

Hey anyone know any mods that help reduce lag/increase fps other than optifine?

Other than Optifine, I'm not sure if there are any good ones out there. One thing though, is the OCD texture pack- it raises my FPS by about 5-10 on average.

Try fps ++ EDIT: Turn off your animations n stuff

There is a mod (for 1.5.x atm) that can fix lag spikes of death, its called "NoLightUpdateLagMC" and can be downloaded from the gregtech-addon thread in the industrialcraft forums

To adress the question, I don't really know of any good lag reduction mods. Optifine has many choices, and after a while you can find a good bugless setting system. It has some flaws, but I must say Optifine is a wonderful lag reduction mod.
