Lag Issue- AS Servers

Hey Guys,

So the AS servers, before they were AS and when they were AU, i would get around 150ms ping.

For the first part of the AS servers I again got my comfortable 150ms ping

Now it has become really spiky and I get around 200-1500 ping. With it mainly hovering at around 1000ping.

These are my guesses based on when I type "Test" and the Minecraft in game ping checker.

I then went to terminal and typed "ping as1.mcsg.in" and it comes back with around 16-80 ping.

I don't understand why my ping is so high in game.

If anyone has any tips/suggestions I would be very very appreciative.

It may help you if you close your Browser and other programs who take some internet

Tried that, had nothing running, still didn't work.

Now that you mention it, it only started happening 1.5.2

Ask your parents to change their / your nternet provider?

I, myself, got the "lag spike". I hate this when this happens. I looked at my MS and it's fine (I get around 80 - 100). But when I join a game, and play, the tables have turned. The lag takes over the game. Please fix this fast >.<

This is not a server issue, its because of your internet, your location or your pc

Well, my computers very close to the internet. Never had this issue :\

Maybe you got a bad internet provider, or it becomes bad

Been having some lag lately since i last played the AS servers.

It's just minecraft itself, not your actual service providers at the moment. MCSG does have a bit to do with it, but not much.
