Lag in Map 2?

Hello, I love these servers but, I have one Problem!
Whenever it is the City map (Map 2), I lag like CRAZY. Map 1 is very smooth. Why is that?
Does anyone else have this issue?

This is because the client has to load lots of buildings, therefore it creates lag. Try getting optifine and run on the lowest settings possible.

Nothing to do with internet connection since its fine for map 1. It's definitely his computer

Is optifine some sort of plugin you add into your minecraft jar or something?

It is a mod which increases your fps on minecraft. It lets people with less good pc's improve their lag A LOT!
