Kicked for spamming. Really?

i got killed early on and when in the spectator chat me and another guy was chatting it up and suddenly i got kicked for spamming. Is this really necessary?

I got kicked twice too, Just for sending one message.

Apparently it's being worked on. I can't even type in chat now cause im on my last warning ._.
