Just me or is Minecraft not working?

Guys, for me Minecraft is just endlessly in the original window, like a millimetre away from fully loaded... i have tried redownloading it, restarting my copmuter, my ineternet and checking help.mojang.com. Nothing is helping... Just me or what?

Hmm....
I got a new laptop, and it stays in that window for a long time, but not forever - More like a minute or two at most.
It has the same amount of RAM, but less GHz as my old computer, which works fine.

What are the specs of your computer?
And btw, I think the screen you're referring to is called the Launcher.
