My friend is having trouble joining the servers. It just says connecting and then says failed to connect. He has the new launcher and he is using release 1.6.2. Please help.

Our Minecraft servers are offline but we will keep this forum online for any community communication. Site permissions for posting could change at a later date but will remain online.

There are a few options. make sure your internet is still online and well. I get that error a LOT. Try restarting your MC launcher. You could also manually type the IP address in. It's some strange glitch with the paste from the website, there is an extra space at the end of the server ip. Then it won't connect. Try those, and let me know how it works for you. You could also try to enter through the new server hub.
