I say the PC is good I would drop 8 cores to a quad then upgrade your graphics card ( video games don't use all 8 cores

• You're going to want an Optical Drive and a Operating System.
• If you don't have a monitor already, you'll want one of those.
• The power supply isn't the best, but I didn't want to go over your budget.

In my opinion, the CPU cooler in this build is pretty overkill, epically since the processor can't be overclocked as it isn't a "k" series chip. If you are looking for a good all around rig which can handle Minecraft well, I would recommend this build: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/HackInBuild/saved/KpvmP6
