Is there a new hack around?

So lately every time i'm having a good game on the MCSG servers suddenly I get java.net.SocketExcepion:connection reset and it exits me out of the game. It never happens on games where i'm doing bad so is it possible hackers are ruining this for me? They're bringing me so close to just quitting for good.

No, it's probably just your internet. Get optifine, it really helps to reduce lag which might be the source of your problem.

I have optifine and I have fantastic internet. I've never had this problem until the last two days.

It could be YOUR Minecraft. Try refreshing your minecraft.jar and if your computer is good enough, allocate more RAM to it. Check that your java is 64bit as well. Im just list everything that ive done to my minecraft. i dont know if it will help but it is worth a try

It's the servers. Not a particular hack...although someone sould be hacking the servers, not the game

The servers are being DDOS'd, which is causing both the forums and the servers to crash.

This is what people do when they are scum with no lives.
