When I join a sg it either sometimes made me join a battle grounds server or a already started sg match, is this a bug or something?

Yes, our devs are aware of it and they are working to fix it right now :) To avoid this for now, just right-click on the signs to join an SG game/BG game or do /join (gamemode) ###
