Is calling someone a noob a bannable offence?

Because i have been getting threats that i will get banned soon for calling someone a noob. Please reply and tell me what you think if it is a bannable offence or not.

Well, it really depends how often you are saying it. If you say it once after a fight or something, it should be fine. (Happens on all servers) Yet if you are continually saying it to them, or going out of your way to say it to them, you can be banned.

This is from the official MCSG Version 3.0 Rules:

2. Do not disrespect or harass other members: We want people to in our community to feel safe and respected.

Example:

1. [User], you suck at minecraft.
2. [User] is a hacking noob.

• If someone is telling you to stop harassing them or is making it obvious that they are feeling abused, do not continuewhat you are saying or doing.
• Harassment is taken very seriously. If you are caught harassing others, you may risk being permanently removed from our community.

So, technically what you are doing is against the rules. And if you have been told to stop, it is a punishable offence. I suggest stop calling this player or players 'noobs', as you could get yourself into trouble.

Just to clarify you aren't being threatened you are being warned.

It is rude though because you are insulting someone and their abilities.
