Invisibility and Invincibility Glitch

I don't know if this has already been addressed yet. But I was playing a game with some friends and when It got down to me and my other friend, he couldn't see me at all. I stood in front of him and told him to try and hit in front of him and he did, and he couldn't hit me. So after a while of trying some different things, I had to kill him and after I did and he went to be a spectator he could see me..
