Internet lag-spikes ._.

Recently I have been having 5-10 second internet lag-spikes. This gives anyone just enough time to ghost kill me before I completely enter a fight, and usually they end up saying something in chat like "e z pe z" or "HAHAHA GG!!" or anything related to this childish behavior. The router is somewhat new, and for all the time I've had it, it hasn't been doing this. I've tried restarting it... never works. Could this be some hidden virus or something? If so, how would I get rid of it? (I am a technology noob so )

hm.First - join ts and check how many packet lost u got.Then go on speedtest and check your download.Download ccleaner and clear your pc.Redownload minecraft.
