Intense lagg

So, I haven't played any MCSG or Minecraft this week. I just came on and I wanted to play MCSG because 1.8 had come out. So I play with my 1.8 Minecraft, and I am having intense lagg on every server. Also, when I play on 1.7, Im having this lagg. This is on render distance 5, getting 40 FPS. 1 week earlier, when 1.8 hadn't come out yet. I easily got 400 FPS with 12 render distance...

Anyone help me? D:
