Hey there, if you havent seen the recent shocking news Sydney came under attack of a terrorist attack of a Muslim man. Who may i say have been charged with rape, and murder but let out on the new bail laws.
17 Hostages where held for around 17 hours with some escaping earlier. This was a complete total f*** up on part of the Australian government who has been making this country more and more of a nanny state. 3 people lost there lives because of a "word i cannot say" views on religion. Personally im religious but i dont go to other country's as a guess and try to force my views onto them. Just think for a second what would happen if we went over to there country and tried to do s*** like that. We would get shot, if you are a guess you should follow the rules or no longer be a guess. My thoughts go out to all the people affected in this, the brave man who tried to wrestle the gun man i hold in the highest honor, To die on my feet, Then to live on my knees.
I would like to see some older forum members views on this topic please.

This is clearly a situation I simply just can't understand.

The man had so many offences, including murder, rape and sexual & assault charges. How could a man like this be on free foot without being on the watchlist. A ticking bom if you ask me, unacceptable.

I'm not completely sure what his motives were to do such an horrible thing. To show how to world is wrong? Bringing your believes on others? It only brings death, horro, and disbelief. It's sad to see that two people had to pay with their lives for such a maniacs action. I'm touched that someone can be she selfless to try to overpower the gunman to save the other hostages, from what've read this person always put other above himself, which he acted like aswell on this tragic event.

I'm sorry if anything in this message might sound weird, I still have trouble translating my thought from dutch to english on such topics.

It's I will ride with you. Anyway it's not the Muslims that are doing this, it's the Muslim extremists. For the bail part I completely agree with you why would you let out someone That has so many charges. But remember the Australian police did their best. They don't let anyone life go down. When they heard the gunshots they went in and killed the man. To the manger you died because you did a good deed. R.I.P. To be honest the world must do something about the extremists. 20 years back you wouldn't even think about this happening in the country.
