The reason they even have the lobby time is so you can talk stratigy and size up your opponents... Also soon there is a chance of the lobby being more interactive

i think when the server is full you can go to the lobby and wait but still talk but in spec mode

maybe a voting system? Say if 75% of tributes vote yes to start the round early then it begins automatically, rather than the tense 5 minute wait that we currently go through. I find this time almost as bad as the final 10 seconds on the pedestals...
