Sorry no tips from me! I have often wondered about starting GFX, so I tip my hat to you for having the guts to actually do it! Might I ask, what programme you plan on using?

Doing graphics can sometimes turn bad, if you make a bad avatar for someone, and it gets famous, you can get hate. Graphics takes guts, and while we're on it, your being the annoying one. He was trying to help. God damn dude.

You can't just start Graphic Design then become some kind of pro. It takes practice, trial/error, and lots of time.. trust me, to get good it may take you about 6 months. What programs are you using?
