I should've won but the server failed

There were 3 ppl left and i killed some guy and then we went to the deathmatch, i had iron armour (he had none), a much better sword and a bow, i hit him once and one more hit then he would be dead, then i chased him around spawn and i randomly started suffocating until i died. My skype friend was spectating and said that i teleported into the ground while my enemy watched me die...
Please can i have my win back because i've only won once before this!
