I need some help

This sunday I got a new computer. It has 1TB of hard drive and 8GB of RAM. Whenever I go on minecraft, it will eventually say that MC has run out of memory. I have never had this problem, and I was wondering if anyone here could help me?

Maybe you need to allocate more RAM to minecraft. Try searching it on youtube, it may help.
