I need help with downloading MCSG maps!

So I have downloaded an MCSG map but it comes in rar! I am trying to use vlc to open it but It wont work anyother way I could open it?

You'll have to download winRAR which you can get here :
www.winrar.com
Also vlc is a mediaplayer so it isn't ment to open any other files then music and movies.
