I had iron donor and my friend bought me diamond donor?

Hi,
I had iron donor, but last night my friend bought me diamond donor. (I didn't know it until he told me it was him) but anyways, I had the rank on the forums and not ingame, but now it's back to iron donor on the forums (and still ingame).
Does anyone know why it went back to iron?
