Hello!
I can't seem to find my minecraft.jar file. I've deleted the file of the version that I'm using ( 1.7.2 ) and I still can't find it! If you could help that would be great
Thanks! -KangarooFilms

In your .minecraft folder, you should see it in the versions folder. :)
Hopefully this answers your question. Thread locked; if you have any problems feel free to PM a staff member. Have a great day!

Edit: Way better explanation below...

On Windows:
  1. Open your start menu
  2. Type: "%Appdata%
  3. Double-click the file called: ".minecraft"
  4. Go into your bin folder
  5. It should be right there
On IOSX:
  1. Open Finder.app
  2. Click "Go" in the menubar
  3. Choose: "Go to folder..."
  4. Type in: “~/Library/Application Support/Minecraft/bin” (without quotes)
  5. It should be right there
Locking this thread since your question was answered. Have. Nice day and take care! ;)

EDIT: Oops... Cap'n ninja'd me, but I won't delete my post since it explains how to get there in a more in depth way.
