How will you play 1.8?

Hey guys! So I was quite wondering you guys plans for your settings on the 1.8 client for Minecraft. Now we all know that 1.8 isn't the most optimized for the PC, but when you lower things, it is good, with some sacrifices.

Maybe you can give other's advice on how to make their FPS go sky high and help them out!

Personally, I have made my Minecraft take 3GB of RAM and have Optifine made at custom settings so that I can run as smooth as possible, not only so, but I have an okay CPU (AMD 2800 SERIES '3.5 - 4.1 GHz) and my Minecraft still runs at a very low rate.

Thanks for reading the thread, and I hope to see your ideas on how to make Minecraft have better performance when playing.

I didn't change anything at all to be honest, but I am up to suggestions.

I'm personally not too happy with the 1.8 update, but I think after a while I will get used to it. My main disliking is block hitting, because I do it a lot and it benefits me when I'm getting low.

Runs god PC with 144hz monitor. Still gets insane spikes and random FPS spikes making the game choppy therefore giving the user less pleasure. Mojang sure knows how to create a usable and stable product!!

I'm using VBOs, and they work well. It's funny how people call 1.8 laggy, even though it is the fastest version, at least on singleplayer.

Usually lag is fixed within a few weeks.

I will open Minecraft on 1.8 and play.... I haven't changed any of my settings from 1.7-1.8 and I don't get lag spikes or fps drops.
