How to you log into a server

I can't figure out how to log into a server. Help!!!

You type in the IP, for example us1.mcsg.in on Minecraft, then click Join Server. It can be ingame though. If you want to join a lobby wait for one that is restarting then spam the refresh until it comes back up.
