(First of all, I have a mac, and this is how I do it. If you have a windows, it should work the same way, but if it doesn't, I don't know what to tell you D:)

Hey guys. I've seen many people ask how to mix packs, and are having other people doing them for them. I have no problems with this, and hopefully the people who mix the packs for them don't have a problem either, but I'm simply making this to help people do them on their own :)

Step 1: Beginning Pack
Pick a resource pack to begin off with. The way to choose which pack to build off of is to choose one with the most texures you want in them. If you want a Faithful customize, download Faithful and begin there.

Step 2: The Other Resource/Texture Packs
Obviously the next step is to get all the packs you need to make your custom pack. To get every little thing you need to make your pack look the way you want, you need to make sure you have all the necessary resource packs to do so. Once that's done, you can move on to Step 3.

Step 3: Chose Textures
So, say you want a sword from a certain pack, but armor from another. All you have to do is go into the pack with sword, and drag that file [(whatever)sword.png] onto your desktop. Next, go to the pack with the armor, and drag that file onto your desktop as well. Repeat this step until you finally have all the files you want to mix on your desktop.

Step 4: Mix Texure (Final)
Ok, now that all your files are on your desktop, simply go into whatever folder the file is supposed to be into, (if it's a item, drag into items folder, if it's a block, drag into blocks folder, and etc.) and put the item in that folder. It will ask if you want to replace the file. Say 'Yes'

And there you go! You've successfully mixed textures and made it into your custom texture pack. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them in the comments below. Hope this helped!

My least favourite thread on the forums, sorry but now there will be more like Huahwi getting recognized as great custom pack maker. I actually make most of the pvp textures in my pack and these custom packs annoy me. Especially when they get told they're good at making rps for it. It's just the fact they get recognized resourcepack makers for dragging files.

Still, it's useful for people who didn't know how to make these [adjective] resource packs before, whatever you want to call them.
I see your point though, people should try to make at least one or two of their own textures :3

I understand, I mainly just made this for people who wants to mix textures from different packs. The only reason I put custom resource packs is because you can make your own pack by mixing things from different packs. But I get it, thanks for your input :)
