First of all, please do not take this the wrong way - In no way, WHATSOEVER is this a dig at MCGamer.

As many of you people know, people have been banned for "conspiring" against MCGamer.
This entails: Moderation, Rumour spreading, Criticising the servers..
I believe that people who conspire against MCG should be ... not punished.. more like talked to - the admins should talk to them in a TeamSpeak3 meeting, and together, help recover the servers, or deal with the issues.
I think that MCGamer staff have dealt with these issues badly, but you can see why they do - because it's going to turn the public against them, or whatever..

I think that If MCG dealt with these complaints in a more... efficient way, the servers could recover to the potential that they used to hold.

I don't think people get banned for stating their opinion, it's more than harshness and abuse that they do it with. Plus these banned people have leaked private information so it's only right they get banned...
Trust me, I used to think like you did, but I've seen things that have caused me to see why the staff do what they do ;P

We can handle criticism, and they usually result in a talking-to with those who are willing to talk these things out; a lot of people stating those things usually stopped talking with us or refuse to talk with us, thus creating a self-fulfilling prophecy. What we don't accept are personal attacks, leaking private information, unproductive vent/rage threads, and personal vendettas veiled as justifiable opinion. If people get banned for voicing their opinion, it's not because of what they're saying: it's how they say it. I'd love to point to some examples of such threads, but I think that'd only make things worse.

And then there are the things that we just can't change, usually for technical or personal reasons. We can't do everything that's asked of us, but some people take it the wrong way. Sorry folks, but we aren't miracle workers, we can't please everyone.

Things always look different from the players' perspectives and the staff's perspective. And as billyguy1 stated, a little additional information could explain everything, but the staff isn't at liberty to give that information away for the sake of everyone who is involved.

I, for one, would love if we just had a drama-free way to address everyone's problems. But until then, we have to just wade through it all work out the best solution that we can.

I feel like people jump to conclusions too quickly. Yeah, you (generally used) saw a thread that someone said something criticizing MCSG, now they're banned. You're angry! But do you know other things they might have done out of the public eye? Not necessarily. One should keep an open mind to what else may have happened when considering bans like this.

-=Note this is my personal opinion=-

I do agree that criticism should be listened to and in some cases it is best to personally talk to the person about it, but I feel that in a lot of cases there is a lot more to it than everyone knows, like they can do it on a personal level to the staff or it can involve other factors that the community don't know about, so its a bit difficult with a lot of the criticism threads.
