how do you join?

hi everyone ive just started playing this game and i dont know how to join a map. and yes i know im going to get tons of replies saying things like "noob" but ive never really been a gamer but im giving it a try so please help me?

First question. Do you own minecraft? If so, type in this IP in the multiplayer tab: us.mcgamer.net

from there, you should be able to go to the hub and click on the compass, then select the "survival games" section, and join a game by right clicking on a sign.
