How do you change your avatar?

Iv tried to change it numerous times it doesnt work, i upload a photo i wanted to upload but it wont upload when it says it did. I still have this stupid avatar i need it off!

There has been many problems with avatar changes. Try using the Gravatar option, if that fails to work contact a staff member.

Yeah, this problem is the same I am having. Gravitar doesn't even work.... We'll suffer together <3.
