How do I get good fps with shaders?

I have terrible fps with shaders and I was wondering if any of you guys knew how to get really good fps with

it? I was wondering if it was affected with music and sounds or video settings or shaders settings. I use a mac

mini and I really want to use shaders so if you could please help me it would be really helpful

Mac's are, no offence, are awful for gaming. You could try changing the Shaders settings in the Shaders tab.

Wrong place to post this.
But try dedicating more ram to minecraft.

Dedicate more RAM to Minecraft,or go without Shaders. If you're going to dedicate more RAM, be sure to go to low settings, maybe short render distance.
