How do i delete a thread i have made?

I posted a clan thread on the clans and teams section in the forums. i would really like to try out for a clan but I'm afraid if they see the post i had made I will get denied. how do i delete it?

Where the "edit" and "reply" buttons are, there's should be a "delete" button. Click it and fill out why you believe it needs to be deleted, and hit "delete post".
