Some tributes have been breaking in to the Host Tower through the door at the back, and are using the items in the chest.

The door has been removed so you can go up into the host room?? What do you mean breaking in? And the chest has random stuff in it, just like the center chests

I think there's Monster Eggs in there, and players are using them, i thought that it was illegal.

i played a ton yesterday and never saw one monster egg. Not to mention the last update made it so eggs didnt even spawn anything out of them. If there were eggs in there, they cant even be used.

Then how come I saw upwards of 25 cave spiders wandering around the spawn?

its randomized like all the other chests... so the only big deal about this i see is people can camp at the top of the ladder but people can already do that with trees or the ship

The camping part isnt really an issue for any strong pvp players because the camping works both ways for ladders

This really isn't that big of a problem. I've been in the host room plenty of times. Why's it such a bad thing? It just adds more to strategy.
