horrable lag

i keep getting this killer lag every time i try to log onto a server and it always makes me crash. whats wrong?


Edit: ok, i think i fixed it. i lowered my graphics down to the bare bones and i seem to be getting some good fps now. Update: forget it. im still laging out at the login screen for a server for some reason.

Edit 2: ok, for some reason im still now showing as an iron sponsor on the game. i still can;t get into a full server.

The servers are been abit buggy at the minute while we update and fix some bugs in the plugin.

Try this:

• Reinstalling Java or a newer version and the correct version 32 or 64 bit
• Update or reinstal ghrapic card drivers
• Reinstal Minecraft: delete your .minecraft file and redownload it. Than instal it again
• If this doesn't work try deleting your minecraft registers.
• Installing Optifine

Does this only happen at the mcsg servers?

It could also depends on the servers. And don't worry about your sponsor state it will get updated.

Maybe there are people having the same problem. Also there are people on those forum that know a lot more about minecraf issues than I do.
