To take a screenshot in Minecraft, as Yin and TheCornStealer said, just press F2 in your computer, if you are on a mac, I believe you have to press Fn+F2, then the screenshot will be saved in your ".minecraft" folder (where you manually install your mods) in a folder named "screenshots".
If you were asking for another way of taking screenshots, I could recommend you an easy way (on windows), just press the "prt scr" button on your keyboard and then open a program called "Paint" then paste the picture (ctrl+v) and just crop the picture to the size you want, and save it.
