Help!

Basically, I cannot use any of the function buttons E.G:

F5
F3

I really need these buttons for obvious reasons such as looking behind me in PvP and viewing your co ordinates. This has happened before but I cannot fix it, help me! Cheers.

Is it a laptop? Cuz if so, sometimes laptops use the F# keys for other things (volume, brightness, etc.)
So try doing Fn+F#

Try using Ctrl+f5

EDIT: Omg, my laptop has a little key called the "Fn lock" which prevents me from using the function keys on Minecraft... I feel so stupid right now! It worked!
