Help wont let me join any servers that are in lobby mode.

When i try to join any server thats is in lobby mode i try to join but it just doesnt connect it says timed out or my minecraft just stops responding plz help or it just keeps saying loging in.
I really want to play on the servers a tribute.

Hello vamplord69,

Right now Minecraft.net is being very slow and unresponsive for everybody. It takes us even multiple attempts to get into servers. This could very well be your problem.
